Welcome to Timbercrest Construction

Timbercrest Construction specializes in custom homes, additions, and large-scale remodels for homeowners across Lapeer, Oakland, and Macomb Counties.

We focus on thoughtful planning, clear communication, building relationships and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.

From concept to completion, our goal is to make the building process organized, transparent, and collaborative.

We take pride in delivering high-quality work, building relationships and helping homeowners create spaces their families will enjoy for years to come.

A Family-Run Business

Timbercrest Construction is a family-owned and operated company built around the values that matter most to us — honesty, hard work, and treating people the right way.

While Adam leads the construction side of the business, Jackie works behind the scenes managing operations, marketing, and the systems that keep projects organized, on-time and clients informed throughout the entire process.

Together, we’ve built Timbercrest with a simple goal: create the kind of construction company we would want to hire for our own home. That means clear communication, thoughtful planning, and work that’s done the right way.

As a family raising our daughter here in the Metamora community, we take pride in helping other local families create spaces where life happens — whether that’s expanding a home with an addition, transforming a space through renovation, or building something new from the ground up. We look forward to meeting you!

About the Owner

Timbercrest Construction Co. was founded by Adam Byrnes, a proud U.S. Army veteran with more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry. Adam began his career hands-on in the field, framing houses and roofing, before moving into leadership as a superintendent with Lombardo Homes, one of Michigan’s top home builders. He later broadened his expertise as a project estimator with two of the state’s largest commercial construction companies — Ram Construction and DCC — and also served as a building inspector for Macomb County.

Adam holds a Michigan Residential Builder’s License and a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, giving him a unique balance of hands-on expertise and professional training. His background covers every stage of the building process — from design and permitting, to quality control, to project management on large-scale jobs.

Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and a belief that homeowners deserve honest, high-quality work, Adam decided to launch Timbercrest Construction Co. His mission: to bring customers’ visions to life through durable, beautiful builds and a personal, family-run approach that larger companies can’t always provide.
